I got into the Sam and Max franchise around 2020 and I've loved it ever since. Max is my favorite of the duo, but I relate to Sam more.
I was introduced to Sam and Max by stumbling across this video:
A short summary of what Sam and Max is:
Sam & Max is an American media franchise about Sam and Max, a pair of anthropomorphic vigilante private investigators.
The characters are based in a dilapidated office block in New York City. Sam is a six-foot-tall dog who wears a suit and a fedora, while Max is a short and aggressive "hyperkinetic rabbity thing". Both enjoy solving problems and cases as maniacally as possible, often with complete disregard for the law. Driving a seemingly indestructible black-and-white 1960 DeSoto Adventurer, the pair travel to many contemporary and historical locations to fight crime, including the Moon, Ancient Egypt, the White House and the Philippines, as well as several other fictitious locations.

I really want this plushie... but I don't have $50
My favorite of the games is The Devil's Playhouse. I was stunned by the ending because I didn't expect Max to die. I knew he wouldn't be gone forever, but I was still surprised they went that route at all. I love when silly games get serious, even if it's just for a second.
I am also a fan of both the comics and the cartoon. I love Steve Purcell's art. I am so sad the cartoon only got one season. I hope that maybe one day it will have a reboot, hopefully on Adult Swim or a channel like that. The show had so many funny moments that wouldn't fly in a kids show these days.
Like... we still get new games (This Time it's Virtual) and remasters, so why not a reboot someday?
To those who see this page, I highly recommend these games if you enjoy comedy point-and-click adventure games. I also, of course, recommend the comics and the show too.
These characters mean a lot to me since they got me through some rough times. I wish I could support Skunkape and Purcell more, but I have no money.
I will be opening a GoFundMe so I can buy more merch.

Recently, a piece of artwork sold for $10,000! That's insane. 100% deserved.
